Community Guidelines
Effective 2026-07-24 · Version 2.0 · Plain-language house rules that complement the binding Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service.
1. Why we have these guidelines
Metatrix is a place to create, generate, and share — and it works best when everyone feels safe and respected. These Community Guidelines are the plain-language “house rules” for making and sharing things on metatrix.ai. Think of them as the friendly version of the fine print.
They complement our binding Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service, which are the legal agreements that actually govern your use of the Services. Where these guidelines and those documents ever seem to differ, the Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service control. Nothing here narrows or replaces them.
2. What we encourage
This is a creative space. We love to see you:
- Make original things. Bring your own ideas to Max chat, image, video, and 3D generation, the camera scene-description tool, voice, and the terminal — and see where they take you.
- Credit others. When your creation builds on someone else’s work, style, or idea, acknowledge them. Generosity with credit makes the whole community better.
- Collaborate with respect. Give useful feedback, assume good faith, and treat other creators the way you’d want to be treated.
- Share thoughtfully. Post creations to the gallery that you’re proud of and that you have the right to share.
3. What’s not allowed
These are the lines you must not cross. They mirror our Acceptable Use Policy in friendlier language — but they carry the same weight. Don’t use Metatrix to create, generate, upload, or share any of the following:
- Anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights — including copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, or privacy and publicity rights.
- Sexual content involving minors — absolutely never, in any form, with no exceptions. This includes anything that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a child.
- Non-consensual intimate images or sexual deepfakes. No intimate or sexual content depicting a real person without their explicit consent.
- Impersonation or deception. Don’t pretend to be someone you’re not, or make synthetic media designed to trick people into believing someone said or did something they didn’t.
- Harassment, hate, or incitement to violence. No bullying, threats, stalking, hateful content targeting people for who they are, or content that promotes or glorifies violence.
- Violations of other people’s privacy. Respect the people around you — do not capture, upload, or share other people, their voices, or their private spaces without their consent. The camera scene-description tool describes scenes; don’t use it, or any feature, to identify, profile, or surveil anyone.
- Malware or attacks via the terminal. The sandboxed terminal is for building and learning, not for creating malicious code, launching attacks, scanning or breaking into systems, or trying to escape the sandbox.
- Stripping AI-content labels. Don’t remove, hide, or falsify the watermarks, provenance marks, or “AI-generated” labels we attach to creations.
4. Sharing & remixing responsibly
The gallery lets you save and share your creations, and remixing is part of the fun — so please do it fairly:
- Only share what you have the rights to. If you don’t own it or have permission to use it, don’t upload or publish it.
- Remember that public means public. Anything you make public in the gallery may be seen, viewed, and remixed by others. Be mindful of what you put out, and don’t include private or sensitive information about yourself or anyone else.
- Respect the people in your content. If a real person appears in what you share, make sure you have their consent.
5. Reporting & moderation
If you see something that breaks these guidelines — or anything unlawful — tell us at support@metatrix.ai. Please include enough detail (such as a link or description) for us to find and review it.
To keep Metatrix safe, we may remove or disable content, limit or turn off features, and suspend or terminate accounts. Where content is unlawful, we may preserve records and report it to law enforcement or other authorities — including mandatory reporting of any material that sexually exploits children.
6. Appeals
We aim to get moderation right, but we know mistakes can happen. If you believe we removed something or acted on your account by error, contact us at support@metatrix.ai and we’ll take another look. Please share any context that helps us understand what happened.
7. Related policies
These guidelines sit alongside the rest of our policies. For the full rules on what’s allowed, see the Acceptable Use Policy. For how we handle ownership and infringement claims, see our Copyright & DMCA Policy. And for the complete legal agreement, see the Terms of Service.
